- Use on articles' talk pages only.
- Place in the top banner section of the article talk page. (Suggested placement: following guidelines and WikiProject assessments, but preceding merge history and archives.)
- Adds page to Category:Wikipedia requested audio of animals.
|date=is a hidden parameter automatically substituted with the month and year of the edit.|reason=default value: The article needs an example of this animal's sounds.
